i think SG’s or flying V”s represent rock more than less pauls …. but maby thats just me:P
but then wen he became pop he waz still useing drugz but still he baught 1 cuz of his popularity

@edserb if you look at the price of Derrig “Gibson” Les Pauls they’re a lot more than Gibsons! The money wasn’t the issue!
@AlochEX I dont think you realise how much the Les Paul has sculpted and changed the amount of rock that you listen to…
@TheBlackOctane y mostly listen AC/DC and Rush …. no les pauls there … just saying
@AlochEX true true, but Led Zeppelin, Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard, etc alot of 60s-80s rock bands used it
@AlochEX the guitarist from rush did play a les paul in one of their more recent concerts…

@AlochEX you could think of it that way my friend, or you can think, every band is different in their own way, meaning that there all brilliant, just some may appeal to others

I found a guitar EXACTLY like this except its from a brand called Austin. It looks to have the same pick ups and everything do you think its worth 300 with a hard case?
@edserb i thought his manager got him it, cause his jackson sounded like crap when recorded, while it sounded much better live

@camarodude32 Well it’s a copy so it is meant to look almost exactly like the Gibson. Seen as though I’ve never heard of Austin I don’t know but what I would do is buy an Epiphone because although being copy’s you get great value for money I have one and it has not yet broken on me (touch wood). One more tip i bought a stagg for my first guitar, biggest mistake of my life they may look nice but after about 6 months they just start to fall apart. But definitely do some research on Austin.
