I really like it!
another beauty from the best collection of guitars! , i seriously dont know how you get these guitars in such excellent condition , brill
@sportsportsport Thank you very much.
@AerosmithVault Thanks, the guy who sold me the doubleneck called me about this guitar and said he had 4 of them for sale and I told him I wanted whichever one was perfect. lol
cool!
…wow
That is a sweet Telecaster. Haha that Thinline is highly prized because it was from a thin (production) line I cracked up too. Wow a double locking Kahler tremolo on the Tele.
I heard a bit of Barracuda when you demoed it with overdrive. Heart’s original bass player Steve Fossen currently works at my local bass store in Seattle called Bass Northwest, which is where I learned how to setup my Grabber II bass. Also there is Evan Sheeley, who played bass for Floyd Rose’s Q5 band 30 years ago.
@bmiranda2645 Very cool. I really dig this guitar. Who knows why some things catch on and others don’t. I think that this one is a real winner. Oh well…..I’ve got mine. lol
Very nice review on a great guitar. I have one that I bought new in 91. Mine is blue but I always wish I would have bought a sunburst every time I see one. I had a store order mine from Fender and the funny thing is mine came with an actual Floyd Rose “Pro” on it while every other HMT I’ve ever seen has a Kahler.
@vergaPeludaSanchez Yeah, they came with both trems. Funny thing is that I’m looking for a blue one. I find red or black here and there….just still hunting down the blue one.
great review!!
@bobothegranade Thank you. I love this guitar. I hope to get one in every finish, but they just don’t come up that often. I’m on the hunt though. lol
@groovydjs yeah im really into collecting discontinued guitars, i dont know if you take requests or not , but could you try to review a steinberger guitar?
@bobothegranade I would if I still owned any my friend. I’ve had plenty in the past but I don’t have one anymore.
O_O I have been dreaming of a guitar like this!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Crazymofoinamajikbox These were great and hardly anybody knows about them. If you can find one…..grab that puppy up. They are superb. Just a way better Telecaster on HUGE steroids. The original Tele sounds, full shred Dimarzio at the flick of a switch, a whammy that can dive bomb to hell and back and actually holds tune perfectly. It took the Japanese to build a Fender that actually stays in tune. lol
they HAVE to start making this guitar again!!!!! Only thing is it will be expensive as hell cuz, well its a Fender T_T
@Crazymofoinamajikbox They really do need this one again. Everybody that sees this thing wants one and they are simply impossible to find. The thing is that they came out about a week before Nirvana hit the charts and killed the whole Pointy Headstock thing, so….this guitar and all of the cool 80’s type of guitars were killed along with it. All of a sudden, beat to hell guitars and grunge became cool and nobody wanted these, now they are seeing what so quickly came and wen and want them.
You can really play everything with this guitar…
@angelfr83220 That is true. There’s really nothing that it can’t do. Such a cool guitar.
i own 1 of this :X:X: its the best … i will change this guitar just whit a custom think , like a gibson lp custom , only a guitar like that can compare whit this :X
Cool guitar i recomandet it as Scott does
@Tipuguitar16 Awesome, you really can’t beat these things. So many tones to choose from and just a super sweet look and just the right combination of old style looks and hardware that actually works for a change. The very best guitars are always the ones to get tossed aside by the manufacturer first.
